Most of these challenges can be met easily by scouting around for a homeschooling group that meets in your area to offer support, group learning activities and social events. Many homeschool group members support each other through frequent e-mail correspondence, as well. Some groups are based on a common background, such as religious affiliation or style of living, but most come together for geographic convenience, providing a variety of backgrounds and interests within the group.
