Briefly describe this fundraising event:
Sell high-quality confections such as M&M's, Hershey bars, Kit Kats and more!
Organizing the event:
Use the power of the sweet tooth to your advantage and raise money quickly and easily for your school. Here's what you need to do:1. Decide what product or combination of products you'd like to sell. When buying candy or any product in bulk look for bargains at local discount stores (tell them it's for a school fund raiser for that extra 10 to 20 percent off) and/or ask your school for their supplier contacts. 2. Provide each student or participant with a 50-piece box or bag of candies (or whatever amount makes sense for your fund-raiser). 3. Solicit family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Discourage children from going to door-to-door in unfamiliar neighborhoods, especially at night. 4. Collect all monies, recap initial investments and the rest goes to your school.
Capital possibilities:
Most candy fund raisers seem to provide an easy and consistent 100% profit. Most items will cost you about $.50 and it's quite easy to turn around and sell them for $1.00.
Degree of difficulty:
Easy to organize, easy to manage, and easy to make a good profit.
