Get Ready to Read! Skill-Building Activities

Help a child you care about get ready for reading with the Get Ready to Read! activity cards.

Get Ready to Read! has developed 36 one-on-one and 36 group activity cards that are fun and easy to do. Print all of the activity cards as a set or pick individual activities. Also, choose activities based on the skill area and skill level.

The Get Ready to Read! activity cards are:

  • engaging, child-friendly early literacy activities for preschoolers.
  • free and easy to print.
  • full of new ideas for bringing literacy activities into your classroom, home and daily routine.

One-on-One Activities

  1. Print all 36 activity cards on plain paper.

  2. There will be two activity cards per page.

  3. Print individual activity cards

  4. Select each activity from the activity card index page.

Group Activities
