Adult Book Group

A book group of adults (or peers) works well as long as its members are committed to their individual responsibilities. Each member needs to read the book, and come prepared for whatever task was assigned (making coffee, gathering discussion questions, etc.)

The ideal size for this group is five to seven people. You can invite people with common interests or hobbies, or not! Gender, religion, or ethnic background can be as similar or dissimilar as you like. This kind of a group often meets at work or at a library. The facilitator role is helpful in terms of organization in adult groups, but it's not crucial.

Does this sound like the kind of group for you? Follow these easy steps to get your own book group started.
