Musical Quick Tips

Does your child whistle while he works? Here are four ways to help him further develop his musical intelligence:

  • Give him plenty of opportunities to sing or play musical instruments at home.

  • Listen to music together and discuss how the music makes him feel.

  • Watch a television show together and ask him to describe the kind of mood the musical score creates. Would the show be as powerful without the musical score?

  • Encourage him to pursue hobbies such as singing in the choir and playing musical instruments.
