Description: Leonora is a Spanish peasant girl who falls in love with her landlord's son Don Rafael Bull. To prevent his son from marrying beneath his station, Don Rafael's father banishes Leonora. She moves to Paris, where she becomes a famous opera singer, and is able to reject the proposals of Don Rafael when she returns to her village.
