Description: The Velez family, a typical middle-class clan from Bogotá, buys their first car in an attempt to move up the local social ladder. After the father accidentally gives away a winning lottery ticket for a new car to the neighbors, they decide to save face and spend their entire nest egg to buy their neighbor's old car -- a cherry red 1950s Chevy convertible.
