Description: Filmmaker Diaz origianlly intended to make a musical set in Havana, but when this plan fell through, he instead documented his search for a young black actress for the lead role. He interviews ten women about life in Cuba, their aspirations and backgrounds. While some, like model Joanna, have performance backgrounds, others like Ivette are unemployed and looking for new opportunities.
