Description: A group of 40-year-old career women face questions of love, friendship and the single life. But their lives are thrown in the air when a much younger man appears on the scene. Kate, an expatriate American headmistress of a British private school, gets together weekly with Molly, a doctor, and Janie, a police sergeant, to eat chocolates, drink, smoke, and share stories of love and disappointment. The strength of these female bonds is tested when Kate meets a former student playing the organ at a funeral; minutes later the two are having wild sex in the church graveyard. Despite the 15-year age difference, this is the start of a hot romance that ignites a streak of jealousy in Janie and Molly, who quickly move to sabotage the relationship. The sabotage, at first amusing and harmless, soon takes a tragic turn.
