Connecting with other homeschoolers probably won't be as hard as you imagine – it is likely that you already know several homeschoolers even if you don't know that you do. Just keep your ears and eyes open as you live your daily life and you are bound to come across homeschoolers with whom you can build relationships. Here are some sources from which you are likely to find other homeschoolers:

• Public libraries, especially during regular school hours
• Churches
• Your friends and family
• Places where your kids participate in activities, such as dance lessons, music lessons, or sports programs
• Co-workers and other acquaintances or their spouses
• Formal homeschool groups in your area
• Homeschool conventions
• Internet Web sites connected to your state, city, or town
• Tutors (they might have some homeschoolers as clients)
