Q: I have a daughter who is a junior in high school. My family and I are not U.S. citizens. She wants to apply to colleges in the U.S., but money is an issue. Is there any way for non-U.S. citizens to apply for financial aid?

A: Call the financial aid office at your local college and community college. Set up a meeting with them to find out more about your options.
