Homeschooling and College Admission

College/Career Expert Advice from Carol Carter

Question: Is it harder for homeschooled students to get into good colleges?

Answer: : Most college admissions people look for well-rounded individuals who have demonstrated that they can put themselves into challenging situations which stretch them academically, emotionally and socially.

While you are homeschooling, look for activities that can provide these experiences for your child. You also may want to take advantage of some seminars or coaching, like those offered at www.lifebound.com.
