College/Career Expert Advice from Carol Carter

Question: My daughter has excellent grades and is a well-rounded athlete and student. She is going to be a junior next year. How can I improve her chances now to get into the college of her choice?

Answer: What type of service work has she done? Does she have a job this summer? It sounds like those are the only two areas where she may need to develop. Both of these things will teach her leadership and give her a strong sense of herself -- her passions, purpose, and mission in life.
