Northern Right Whale Migrations in May

In May, the whales are on the move again, moving farther north to their summer feeding and nursing grounds in the Bay of Fundy.

The entire migration from north to south is around 1500 miles. The whales tend to stick together in groups as they migrate, but once they reach their destination they spread out. Mothers and calves have a special bond, though -- they stick together like glue!
