Quick Mimes
Directions:
Can your child convey a wealth of meaning through physical gestures alone? Have him or her pantomime some of the following (without props):
- Walking, feeding, and playing with a pet dog
- Getting dressed, brushing teeth and hair, and leaving for school
- Unwrapping birthday presents and blowing out the candles on a cake
- Picking flowers and arranging them in a vase
- Cooking dinner, setting the table, and serving the meal
- Playing a game of tennis, baseball, soccer, etc.
- Collecting shells at the seashore, taking a dip in the ocean, and building sandcastles
